21 Days of Prayer with Fasting

Prayer Focus: THE YEAR OF DIVINE ACCESS

Grace and peace be multiplied unto you family of God. We once again wish you all a happy and prosperous new year. Today, Monday 10th of January 2022 is the first day of our 21 days of fasting with prayer. We
are so glad you have decided to participate in prayer, fasting and
personal devotion. Reflecting on all the challenges we all went through in 2021, there isn’t really a better way to reset our spiritual compass and bring about God’s refreshing power in every area of our lives than through prayer and fasting. The world has been plagued by the well-known virus this year just when we thought we are out the shadows it just changes into something else. We all have been impacted one way or another by this virus, lives have been lost, businesses impacted badly, jobs lost, and no one has been able to figure it out and put a stop to this madness of a virus. Although it seems like God has remained silent, but there is still hope for us, God has promised that if we pray, He will hear and answer us. It is time to pray and seek the Lord for direction and connecting with everything God is offering us all in 2022.

Period of Fasting: 12 mid-night – 6 pm. From January 10, 2022, To January 30, 2022

Here are a few ways to prepare your heart for this intimate time with God

  • Remember that God is your Father, and He loves you and He is for you. There is not a thing we can do to make God love us. Your fasting and prayer does not influence how God loves you. God by His grace loves us.
  • Confess every sin that the Holy Spirit calls to your remembrance and accept God’s forgiveness 1 John 1:9. Sin is bad, but forgiveness is more powerful than sin…it washes off sin
  • Seek forgiveness from people whom you have offended and forgive those who have hurt you (Mark 11:25; Luke 11:4; 17:3,4). Remember forgiveness is greater than the act of sin. Forgive and stay forgiven
  • Do not underrate the spiritual opposition we contend with and do not overrate him either. Satan sometimes increases the natural battle between body and spirit (Galatians 5:16,17). But always remember JESUS IS LORD
  • Be an active participant in your breakthrough “submit to God resist the devil and he shall flee from you”

Start each day with a heart ready and expecting from God (Hebrews 11:6).

Prayer is communicating with God through words and receiving or hearing His Words. God has promised if we pray that He will answer.

2 Chronicles 7:14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. 15 Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer made in this place

Prayer is God’s designed. It is God’s way of intervening in the affairs of man spiritually and physically.

It is an act of faith and humility towards God.

In prayer you must totally depend on God and seek His face

Fasting is a spiritual discipline;Fasting is abstaining from food and water or food alone for a specific period for Spiritual purpose. It is disciplining the flesh to gain focus in spiritual matters and fellowship with God. God rewards fasting (Isaiah 58:6)

Meditation is taking in the word of God by reading, listening, adhering to what God has said and retrieving what you have read in the word of God to be used daily in life. Meditation is simply remembering what God had said.

Day 1 Prayer Focus: Life of Worship

The first day of our prayer with fasting is a day of praise, worship, and thanksgiving. On this day you want to focus less on your needs and concentrate mainly on Almighty Jehovah God in praise worship and thanksgiving. Use this day to develop a lifestyle of praise worship and thanksgiving

Psalm 100:4: Enter His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.

Hebrews 13:15
“Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name.” (ESV)

Psalms 95:1-6: Oh come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise! For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods. In his hand are the depths of the earth; the heights of the mountains are his also. The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land

Acts 16:25-26: About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them, and suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken. And immediately all the doors were opened, and everyone’s bonds were unfastened.

Pray: Father I enter Your gates with thanksgiving in my mouth, and into Your courts with praise. I declare my mouth filled with Your praise and honor all the days of my life. With gratitude in my heart, I pour out praise and thanksgiving to You for who You are in my life. I thank You for crowning me with loving-kindness and tender mercy, I bless Your Holy name and exalt You above all in my life, You, are high and lifted-up in Jesus’ name. Father I thank You for Your presence in my life and in my family, thank You for being more than enough in my life.

Thank You Father for being my righteousness through Christ Jesus giving me the right to come boldly into Your presence, I thank you for the Divine ACCESS you have made available to me in Christ Jesus day and, I thank you for accepting and loving me as one of your sheep, therefore my ears will hear your Word today and be renewed in the spirit of my mind. I declared boldly that my heart surrenders to Your Word, my heart bows to your will, and I make myself available to the Holy spirit to led and teach me this day, Father I trust you to empower and equip me with wisdom to recognize and enter the places you have prepared for me this year and beyond in Jesus’ name

Day 2 Prayer Focus: – Submitting to The Influence of Heaven

Matthew 6:9 Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name.
10 Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

The will of God in heaven is carried out on earth by the Holy Spirit through human vessels, it takes the power from heaven to carry out the will of heaven on the earth and you want to be that person God works through.

If you expect to hear from God you have to withdraw from the distraction in the world, especially your immediate environment, and set your mind on things above by Looking at life from God’s perspective.

The will and visions of heaven are executed by the Holy Spirit on earth.

John 16:13: 12 “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.

The Holy spirit has heard God’s will concerning you and your family, connect with him today in prayer and He will direct your path. With the Holy spirit guidance there should be no confusion associated with you as to what God’s directives are for your life

Acts 2:17: And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, that I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams.18 And on My menservants and on My maidservants, I will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy.

Prayer:                                                                                                   Father I pray in the name of Jesus that you will impact my heart with great passion for You and Your word in prayer, heavenly Father I pray for your will be done in my life and in everything that concerns me. I pray for the power of the Holy Spirit to continue to rest upon me, helping me with supernatural wisdom and power to navigate my life and to overcome every demonic opposition in Jesus’ name. Amen. I thank You Father that the presence of the Holy Spirit in my life from this day forth will produce within my heart skillful and godly wisdom in dealing with the issues of life in Jesus’ name Amen. I thank You Father for the Divine Access made available to me this day and I pray for the wisdom to recognize and enter by faith every of those access in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. I thank you Father for answering my prayer, I now go in the power of the Holy spirit to fulfill your will for life in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen

Day 3: Prayer Focus: – The Revelation of Spiritual Wisdom

1 Corinthians 2:However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God [c]ordained before the ages for our glory, which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.

Part of prayer is receiving insight spiritual wisdom from God through the Holy Spirit. You are only as strong as the revelation of spiritual wisdom you have received or come to know.  “My people perish for lack of know” (Hosea 4:6)

God must be the source of your spiritual wisdom, and the primary way to receive spiritual wisdom is through the word of God. Joshua 1:This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

Prayer:                                                                                                                                                                   Father, I thank You for the spiritual wisdom that comes with being connected to the Holy Spirit, I therefore believe that the communication of my faith becomes effectual as I acknowledge every good thing which is in me in Christ Jesus. I hear the voice, the Good Shepherd. I hear my father’s voice, and the voice of a stranger I will not follow. I pray for the spiritual wisdom and understand I need each day                                                                                                                              Father, I believe in my heart and say with my mouth that my eyes will see, and my ears will hear all that the Holy Spirit will lead me to in the mighty name of Jesus Christ

I decree and declare that I am becoming sensitive day by day to the will and power of God for my life in the mighty name of Jesus. I stand in agreement with the will of God designed for my life, my family and in everything that concerns me in the name of Jesus Christ. I therefore will walk in a manner worthy of You, Lord, fully pleasing to You, bringing glory and honor to You. I step in faith desiring to please You in all things, I thank you Father for the favor to bear fruit in every good work in the name of Jesus Christ. I thank You Father that Jesus has been made wisdom unto me and I single-mindedly walk in that wisdom expecting to know what to do in every situation and I thank You Father for the Victory over every circumstance in Jesus’ name Amen

Day 4 Prayer Focus: Confidence in Prayer
1 John 5:14: 14 Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15 And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him
God hears us when we pray, therefore you must develop Confidence in your prayer life, knowing that God is willing and able to help you. Remember your confidence in God is an act of faith
Develop Confidence in prayer and you will receive strength overcoming your weaknesses.
Confront your weakness(es) today, by relying on and trusting in the power of God through the Holy Spirit
Romans 8:26: 26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
God offers and provides help, because there is not a thing that God wants us to do, that He wants us to do by ourselves and prayer is one of them. The spirit of God knows the mind of God and prays in and through us according to the perfect will of God, connect with Him today.
The Spirit of God comes along side to help us overcome the challenges and weaknesses we encounter in life therefore it is very important to rely on and trust in the Holy Spirit in prayer.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the presence and power of the Holy Spirit in my life setting me free from my weaknesses in the name of Jesus Christ. I have confident in you and Your Word, and I rely on and trust You from this day forward to manifest Yourself in my life, family, and in my Church in the name of Jesus Christ. I thank You Father for the supernatural manifestation to meet every need I bring before you, I thank You Father that my needs are met with supernatural abundance in the name of Jesus Christ. I declare that I will no longer defer to my weakness, but I acknowledge, and submit, to the Holy Spirit. I declare by faith that the helper (Holy Spirit) of the Lord comes to me every day I thank You that I am always with help in the Holy spirit, I decree and declare that I am acquainted, to the Holy Spirit inner witness prompting me to move in the direction of your will and plan for my life, family and Church in Jesus’ name Amen

Day 5 Prayer Focus: Maintaining Healthy Spiritual Habits

Galatians 5: 16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish

The season of fasting with prayer is always a good place to develop healthy spiritual habits that will help you grow in your faith walk with God.

Maintaining Healthy Spiritual Habits starts with Self-Discipline. Self-discipline is the ability to control and overcome the feelings that often leads to act of the flesh (weaknesses).

An inward power is needed to overcome the feelings that often leads to act of the flesh (weaknesses) and that is what the Word of God and the Holy Spirit provides, however your cooperation is needed.

Galatians 5: 16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit.

What is the needed practices for walking in the spirit? A daily consistent meditation on the Word of God, your obedience to the word and leading of the Holy Spirit.

Galatians 5: 25 If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit.

Colossians 3:16: Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.

Prayer of confession: Heavenly Father I thank You for the power of your word and the manifestation of the Holy spirit in my life, I commit to live my life according to your will in the name of Jesus Christ. I thank You father for your Word that declares that my mouth shall be filled with your praise and honor all the days of my life. As I commit to live my life in the spirit according to Your word, I thank you that You will energize my soul, revive my mortal body as I renew my mind daily with Your Word. I thank You Father for Your Word that says “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled”, I therefore pray and thank You that you manifest Yourself in me, quenching every spiritual hunger in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. I thank you Father that as I long and thirst after Your Power and wisdom for living I shall be filled with all your goodness lacking nothing from this day forth in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen

Day 6 Prayer Focus: The Fruit of the Spirit

Galatians 5: 22-24: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

As you continue daily in the Word and the leading of the Holy Spirit you will produce the fruit of the Spirit. It is the physical evidence demonstrated by your actions that the Word of God and the Holy Spirit is at work in you.

The scripture prescribes the fruit of the Spirit as the lifestyle for the believer, it also serves as an indicator that we are walking in the Spirit.

However, fruit don’t just happen, it always requires seed, the seed gives life to the fruit. The fruit is the physical expression of the seed. The seed is the inner power that gives life to the fruit. Likewise, the word of God serves as a seed giving life to our mortal bodies causing us to be renewed in the spirit of our mind

Jesus said” the Word I speak to you they are life, and they are spirit”

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You for the privilege to ask and have the Holy Spirit in my life, I therefore, make a righteous conscious decision to live life in the spirit in the name of Jesus. I thank You Father for the Divine impartation from the Holy Spirit that ignites my passion to walk in the Spirit through my obedience to Your word and the leading of the Holy Spirit. I thank You Father that the impartation produces through me and for me, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control, I cast down every thought that are contrary to Your will for my life, family, and my Church. I thank You Father for setting me apart at the foundation of the world to be a channel where love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control will flow through, I now walk in that power to accomplish all that You have designed for me in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen
