21 Days of Prayer with Fasting
Prayer Focus: THE YEAR OF DIVINE ACCESS
Grace and peace be multiplied unto you family of God. We once again wish you all a happy and prosperous new year. Today, Monday 10th of January 2022 is the first day of our 21 days of fasting with prayer. We are so glad you have decided to participate in prayer, fasting and personal devotion. Reflecting on all the challenges we all went through in 2021, there isn’t really a better way to reset our spiritual compass and bring about God’s refreshing power in every area of our lives than through prayer and fasting. The world has been plagued by the well-known virus this year just when we thought we are out the shadows it just changes into something else. We all have been impacted one way or another by this virus, lives have been lost, businesses impacted badly, jobs lost, and no one has been able to figure it out and put a stop to this madness of a virus. Although it seems like God has remained silent, but there is still hope for us, God has promised that if we pray, He will hear and answer us. It is time to pray and seek the Lord for direction and connecting with everything God is offering us all in 2022.
Period of Fasting: 12 mid-night – 6 pm. From January 10, 2022, To January 30, 2022
Here are a few ways to prepare your heart for this intimate time with God.
Start each day with a heart ready and expecting from God (Hebrews 11:6).
Prayer is communicating with God through words and receiving or hearing His Words. God has promised if we pray that He will answer.
2 Chronicles 7:14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. 15 Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer made in this place
Prayer is God’s designed. It is God’s way of intervening in the affairs of man spiritually and physically.
It is an act of faith and humility towards God.
In prayer you must totally depend on God and seek His face
Fasting is a spiritual discipline;Fasting is abstaining from food and water or food alone for a specific period for Spiritual purpose. It is disciplining the flesh to gain focus in spiritual matters and fellowship with God. God rewards fasting (Isaiah 58:6)
Meditation is taking in the word of God by reading, listening, adhering to what God has said and retrieving what you have read in the word of God to be used daily in life. Meditation is simply remembering what God had said.
Day 1 Prayer Focus: Life of Worship
The first day of our prayer with fasting is a day of praise, worship, and thanksgiving. On this day you want to focus less on your needs and concentrate mainly on Almighty Jehovah God in praise worship and thanksgiving. Use this day to develop a lifestyle of praise worship and thanksgiving
Psalm 100:4: Enter His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him and bless His name.5 For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.
Psalms 95:1-6: Oh come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise! For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods. In his hand are the depths of the earth; the heights of the mountains are his also. The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land
Acts 16:25-26: About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them, and suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken. And immediately all the doors were opened, and everyone’s bonds were unfastened.
Pray: Father I enter Your gates with thanksgiving in my mouth, and into Your courts with praise. I declare my mouth filled with Your praise and honor all the days of my life. With gratitude in my heart, I pour out praise and thanksgiving to You for who You are in my life. I thank You for crowning me with loving-kindness and tender mercy, I bless Your Holy name and exalt You above all in my life, You, are high and lifted-up in Jesus’ name. Father I thank You for Your presence in my life and in my family, thank You for being more than enough in my life.
Thank You Father for being my righteousness through Christ Jesus giving me the right to come boldly into Your presence, I thank you for the Divine ACCESS you have made available to me in Christ Jesus day and, I thank you for accepting and loving me as one of your sheep, therefore my ears will hear your Word today and be renewed in the spirit of my mind. I declared boldly that my heart surrenders to Your Word, my heart bows to your will, and I make myself available to the Holy spirit to led and teach me this day, Father I trust you to empower and equip me with wisdom to recognize and enter the places you have prepared for me this year and beyond in Jesus’ name
Day 2 Prayer Focus: – Submitting to The Influence of Heaven
Matthew 6:9 Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name.
The will of God in heaven is carried out on earth by the Holy Spirit through human vessels, it takes the power from heaven to carry out the will of heaven on the earth and you want to be that person God works through.
If you expect to hear from God you have to withdraw from the distraction in the world, especially your immediate environment, and set your mind on things above by Looking at life from God’s perspective.
The will and visions of heaven are executed by the Holy Spirit on earth.
John 16:13: 12 “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.
The Holy spirit has heard God’s will concerning you and your family, connect with him today in prayer and He will direct your path. With the Holy spirit guidance there should be no confusion associated with you as to what God’s directives are for your life
Acts 2:17: And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, that I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams.18 And on My menservants and on My maidservants, I will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy.
Prayer: Father I pray in the name of Jesus that you will impact my heart with great passion for You and Your word in prayer, heavenly Father I pray for your will be done in my life and in everything that concerns me. I pray for the power of the Holy Spirit to continue to rest upon me, helping me with supernatural wisdom and power to navigate my life and to overcome every demonic opposition in Jesus’ name. Amen. I thank You Father that the presence of the Holy Spirit in my life from this day forth will produce within my heart skillful and godly wisdom in dealing with the issues of life in Jesus’ name Amen. I thank You Father for the Divine Access made available to me this day and I pray for the wisdom to recognize and enter by faith every of those access in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. I thank you Father for answering my prayer, I now go in the power of the Holy spirit to fulfill your will for life in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen
Day 3: Prayer Focus: – The Revelation of Spiritual Wisdom
1 Corinthians 2: 6 However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. 7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God [c]ordained before the ages for our glory, 8 which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.9 But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
Part of prayer is receiving insight spiritual wisdom from God through the Holy Spirit. You are only as strong as the revelation of spiritual wisdom you have received or come to know. “My people perish for lack of know” (Hosea 4:6)
God must be the source of your spiritual wisdom, and the primary way to receive spiritual wisdom is through the word of God. Joshua 1: 8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
Prayer: Father, I thank You for the spiritual wisdom that comes with being connected to the Holy Spirit, I therefore believe that the communication of my faith becomes effectual as I acknowledge every good thing which is in me in Christ Jesus. I hear the voice, the Good Shepherd. I hear my father’s voice, and the voice of a stranger I will not follow. I pray for the spiritual wisdom and understand I need each day Father, I believe in my heart and say with my mouth that my eyes will see, and my ears will hear all that the Holy Spirit will lead me to in the mighty name of Jesus Christ
I decree and declare that I am becoming sensitive day by day to the will and power of God for my life in the mighty name of Jesus. I stand in agreement with the will of God designed for my life, my family and in everything that concerns me in the name of Jesus Christ. I therefore will walk in a manner worthy of You, Lord, fully pleasing to You, bringing glory and honor to You. I step in faith desiring to please You in all things, I thank you Father for the favor to bear fruit in every good work in the name of Jesus Christ. I thank You Father that Jesus has been made wisdom unto me and I single-mindedly walk in that wisdom expecting to know what to do in every situation and I thank You Father for the Victory over every circumstance in Jesus’ name Amen
Day 4 Prayer Focus: Confidence in Prayer
1 John 5:14: 14 Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15 And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him
God hears us when we pray, therefore you must develop Confidence in your prayer life, knowing that God is willing and able to help you. Remember your confidence in God is an act of faith
Develop Confidence in prayer and you will receive strength overcoming your weaknesses.
Confront your weakness(es) today, by relying on and trusting in the power of God through the Holy Spirit
Romans 8:26: 26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
God offers and provides help, because there is not a thing that God wants us to do, that He wants us to do by ourselves and prayer is one of them. The spirit of God knows the mind of God and prays in and through us according to the perfect will of God, connect with Him today.
The Spirit of God comes along side to help us overcome the challenges and weaknesses we encounter in life therefore it is very important to rely on and trust in the Holy Spirit in prayer.
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the presence and power of the Holy Spirit in my life setting me free from my weaknesses in the name of Jesus Christ. I have confident in you and Your Word, and I rely on and trust You from this day forward to manifest Yourself in my life, family, and in my Church in the name of Jesus Christ. I thank You Father for the supernatural manifestation to meet every need I bring before you, I thank You Father that my needs are met with supernatural abundance in the name of Jesus Christ. I declare that I will no longer defer to my weakness, but I acknowledge, and submit, to the Holy Spirit. I declare by faith that the helper (Holy Spirit) of the Lord comes to me every day I thank You that I am always with help in the Holy spirit, I decree and declare that I am acquainted, to the Holy Spirit inner witness prompting me to move in the direction of your will and plan for my life, family and Church in Jesus’ name Amen
Day 5 Prayer Focus: Maintaining Healthy Spiritual Habits
Galatians 5: 16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish
The season of fasting with prayer is always a good place to develop healthy spiritual habits that will help you grow in your faith walk with God.
Maintaining Healthy Spiritual Habits starts with Self-Discipline. Self-discipline is the ability to control and overcome the feelings that often leads to act of the flesh (weaknesses).
An inward power is needed to overcome the feelings that often leads to act of the flesh (weaknesses) and that is what the Word of God and the Holy Spirit provides, however your cooperation is needed.
Galatians 5: 16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit.
What is the needed practices for walking in the spirit? A daily consistent meditation on the Word of God, your obedience to the word and leading of the Holy Spirit.
Galatians 5: 25 If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit.
Colossians 3:16: Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
Prayer of confession: Heavenly Father I thank You for the power of your word and the manifestation of the Holy spirit in my life, I commit to live my life according to your will in the name of Jesus Christ. I thank You father for your Word that declares that my mouth shall be filled with your praise and honor all the days of my life. As I commit to live my life in the spirit according to Your word, I thank you that You will energize my soul, revive my mortal body as I renew my mind daily with Your Word. I thank You Father for Your Word that says “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled”, I therefore pray and thank You that you manifest Yourself in me, quenching every spiritual hunger in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. I thank you Father that as I long and thirst after Your Power and wisdom for living I shall be filled with all your goodness lacking nothing from this day forth in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen
Day 6 Prayer Focus: The Fruit of the Spirit
Galatians 5: 22-24: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
As you continue daily in the Word and the leading of the Holy Spirit you will produce the fruit of the Spirit. It is the physical evidence demonstrated by your actions that the Word of God and the Holy Spirit is at work in you.
The scripture prescribes the fruit of the Spirit as the lifestyle for the believer, it also serves as an indicator that we are walking in the Spirit.
However, fruit don’t just happen, it always requires seed, the seed gives life to the fruit. The fruit is the physical expression of the seed. The seed is the inner power that gives life to the fruit. Likewise, the word of God serves as a seed giving life to our mortal bodies causing us to be renewed in the spirit of our mind
Jesus said” the Word I speak to you they are life, and they are spirit”
Prayer Confession: Heavenly Father, I thank You for the privilege to ask and have the Holy Spirit in my life, I therefore, make a righteous conscious decision to live life in the spirit in the name of Jesus. I thank You Father for the Divine impartation from the Holy Spirit that ignites my passion to walk in the Spirit through my obedience to Your word and the leading of the Holy Spirit. I thank You Father that the impartation produces through me and for me, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control, I cast down every thought that are contrary to Your will for my life, family, and my Church. I thank You Father for setting me apart at the foundation of the world to be a channel where love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control will flow through, I now walk in that power to accomplish all that You have designed for me in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen
Day 7 Sunday/Prayer Service 11 am. 121 Grandview Staten Island, NY 10303
Day 8: Prayer Focus: Knowing who you are in Christ.
Scripture: Matthew 4:5: Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down. For it is written: ‘He shall give His angels charge over you,’ and, ‘In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.’
Satan temptation will challenge you at the very core of your existence. It is not just the acts of wrongdoing it is mainly about who God says you are. “If You are the Son of God” Jesus knew who He is and didn’t have to respond to Satan’s plot to trick Jesus so that he, Satan can dominate His mind.
Jesus’ response to that challenge was “It is written again, ‘You shall not tempt the LORD your God.’ Jesus knew who He is and didn’t have to respond to the dictates of the enemy (Satan). Likewise, if you will take time to learn from the word of God in this season of Fasting with Prayer who you are to God in Christ, you will develop a healthy spiritual knowledge and outlook about who you are in Christ
There is absolutely no reason for a child of God to be afraid of Satan, and evil practices such as witchcraft, why? Well, a healthy spiritual knowledge and outlook about who you are in Christ will motivate you to walk in the Victory God has provided for you in Christ.
Knowing who you are in Christ is simply having a healthy spiritual knowledge and outlook about who you are in God’s preferred-will.
Healthy spiritual habits (day 5 prayer focus) will develop healthy spiritual outlook (mindset) about God and myself
Habits = what I do daily consistently.
Outlook (mindset) = how I see and relate with God and myself
The past and present situations either good or bad that we encounter in life has the tendency to feed us false images that we live our life from, this is a trap from the enemy (Satan) If we look at our lives with the wrong lenses, chances are we will end up with the wrong information about our lives and that we leave room for Satan and people to define you.
“If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on earth” (Colossians 3:1–2).
Heavenly Father, I thank You for your word that says we have ACCESS through Christ to obtain an inheritance, being predestined according to Your purpose. Thank You Father for working all things according to the counsel of Your will, that we who trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory. I thank You Father for Your Word that says “I am blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus. I thank You Father for Your Word that says “we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. I thank you Father for the Power of Your Spirit that enables me to break free from the unhealthy, negative spiritual habit and mindset delievring out of darkness and setting me in Your marvelous light . I thank You Father for Your Word that gives me Access to information that helps me develop a healthy spiritual mindset of who I am and to know what Your will is for me and my family. I thank You for Divine Access, that causes me to enter the places you have prepared for me from the foundation of the world. I thank You father for Divine Access that gives me the right to operate as a child of God, I therefore, go in the power of Your Word to fulfill all that You have purpose for me bringing Glory and Honor to You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen
Day 9: Prayer Focus: Increasing Your Faith
Scripture: Matthew 6:7 And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words.8 “Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him. 9 In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name.10 Your kingdom come, Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread.12 And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors.13 And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
Accurate knowledge of God, is to see God as Your heavenly Father who wants the best for you. We receive the accurate knowledge of God through His word and intimate moments in prayer
Romans 10:17: So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Spend a lot of your time praying and reading the Word of God
Matthew 6: For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.
Why is God asking us to pray when He already knows what we have need of? Spiritual Intimacy is the reason for prayer even though God knows what we have need of before we ask.
He wants us to use our faith towards Him, which proves that we trust Him with our future, and He will respond to our act of faith towards Him, because faith pleases God.
Roman 11:6: 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Grace makes it possible to have Divine Access into God’s promises for our lives, but it takes faith to enter and experience it.
NB: Prayer confession is not positive speaking it is responding to what God has said and what He is offering us by faith
Now pray by faith to God presenting your difficult or impossible situation to Him.
Prayer confession: heavenly father I thank You for the grace and love that you have bestowed upon me. I thank you Father for Your Word that says “you know what we have need of before we pray, I therefore ask in the name of Jesus Christ that you will meet every of my prayer need with supernatural abundance that will cause me to recover from all of my challenges with no evidence of loss and the divine wisdom to navigate the issues of my life and send me help, on-time help that will favor your righteous causes in my life this year in Jesus name Amen.
Day 10: Prayer Focus: Being Persistent in Prayer is an act of Faith.
Scripture: Luke 18: Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart, 2 saying: “There was in a certain city a judge who did not fear God nor regard man. 3 Now there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, ‘Get justice for me from my adversary.’ 4 And he would not for a while; but afterward he said within himself, ‘Though I do not fear God nor regard man, 5 yet because this widow troubles me I will [c]avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.’ ”6 Then the Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge said. 7 And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? 8 I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”
We are now halfway through our 21 days of fasting with prayer, at this point some of you might be experiencing that temptation to give in, give up and quit, do not believe that lie, stay focus you have come this far, no time to give up now. Why? There are far too many things at stake that you cannot afford to take your feet off the pedal of prayer this year.
Successful fasting with prayer lifestyle requires:
James 5 says the fervent prayer of the righteous availed much dynamic it its nature it makes tremendous power available.
Just like the widow in Luke 18 you need to be persistent in prayer and fasting, and not lose heart no matter how long your situation might have been around, you need to command Satan in the name of Jesus Christ to take his hellish hands of you, your family, properties community and everything that concerns you.
Heavenly Father I thank You for the privilege of abundant life in Christ, Father I thank You, that this abundant life in Christ revives my spirit soul and body, helping me to operate according to your will and creative design for life in Jesus’ name. Father I thank You for the spiritual wisdom and understand to discern the tricks of the enemy Satan and not give in to him, I pray in the name of Jesus Christ that you will make every crooked places in my life, family, and Church family straight and restore everything that the enemy Satan might have irresistible stolen from us in Jesus’ name Amen. I break free today from every yoke of the enemy Satan to intimidate me from operating in what you have freely given to me in Jesus’ name Amen. I decree and declare according to John 1:12: as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name, I therefore assume that position today and I refuse to coward back in my approach towards my spiritual life, in the name of Jesus, I command the enemy Satan to take his hands off everything that concerns me in Jesus mighty name Amen.
Stay Focus in Prayer and stay strong in fasting!!!
Day 11: Prayer Focus: Wining in Spiritual warfare
1 Corinthians 15:57: But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ
Colossians 2:15: And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.
Luke 10:19: 19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
Satan’s system of operation is deception. He lies to anyone who is not enlightened to discern his lies so that he can displace them from the place God has designed for them.
Adam and eve were displaced from the Garden when they believed Satan’s lies about God
Every time the Israelites were in captivity it was because they believed the lies of Satan to disobey God.
Thanks be to God the entrance of Jesus into the world and His resurrection from death has paved the way for humanity to be able to withstand Satan, put an end to his madness, and cutoff his chains.
Isaiah 9: For God will break the chains that bind his people and the whip that scourges them, just as he did when he destroyed the army of Midian with Gideon’s little band. 5 In that day of peace, battle gear will no longer be issued. Never again will uniforms be bloodstained by war. All such equipment will be burned. 6 For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. And the government will rest on his shoulders. These will be his royal titles: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. 7 His ever expanding, peaceful government will never end. He will rule forever with fairness and justice from the throne of his ancestor David. The passionate commitment of the LORD Almighty will guarantee this!
we must approach the subject on spiritual warfare, from the standpoint of Victory.
However, we must operate Victoriously in Spiritual Warfare because we have the victory already, through Christ Jesus. We are not trying to win a spiritual war, the war has already been won for us, we must take our rightful position victoriously in warfare.
We fight from victory, not for victory. 1 John 4:4 4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. The battle for spiritual dominance has been won by Jesus Christ, we must be active participants of the breakthrough God has scheduled for us through Christ Jesus
Always remember, we are not fighting to be Victorious we are victorious because God is our source and Satan has already been defeated.
Prayer Confession: Heavenly Father I thank you that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but are mighty through You in pulling down strongholds, I therefore I pulled down from my life and family every stronghold, of sickness and disease, stronghold of oppression, stronghold deception, no longer will I give in to the lies of Satan in Jesus name Amen
Heavenly Father I acknowledge that the Holy Spirit is in me and will lead me in all things that pertains to life and godliness, I therefore submit to the Holy Spirit guidance and leadership for my life and family, I now declare that greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world,
I thank You Father and ask that the eye of my understanding be enlightened to know, recognize, and put a stop to every demonic activity concerning me, my family and community in the name of Jesus Christ. I thank you for the exceeding greatness of Your power towards me who believe, according to the working of Your mighty power which You used to raise Christ Jesus from the dead and seated Him at Your right hand in heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion. I now go in the power of Your word to accomplish all that You have for me in Jesus’ name amen
Day 12 Prayer Focus: You have been positioned to win in Spiritual Warfare
Scripture: James 4:7: Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Please do not waste your time fighting the devil, we are told to resist him. The question now is how do you resist him? The answer is simple “submit to God”
“Submit to God” means to put myself in subjection, under the dominion of God.
“Resist the devil” means to powerfully declare one’s personal conviction, and take a firm stand against your opponent the devil
Example: Matthew 4: 4 Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. 2 And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry. 3 Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.”4 But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’
In this passage of scripture, Jesus Christ powerfully declared His personal conviction, and took a firm stand against His opponent the devil.
Likewise, if we will submit to the authority of the word of God and declare our conviction of being under the dominion of the kingdom of God, you will resist whatever the enemy the devil throws your way.
Satan the devil wants you believe his lies about your situation, about God, about the love of God for you and about your future. Do not believe his lies.
Prayer Confession: Heavenly Father I thank You for the Outpouring of Your love and power in Jesus’ name. I agree with Your Word in Ephesians 1, that You will give each of us the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Christ Jesus. I submit to you today and always, as I resist the devil in the name of Jesus Christ. I resist the devil today, by submitting to Your will and plan for my life I resist the devil today by submitting to your health care plan for my life I decree and declare by the strips that were laid on Jesus I am healed and free from sickness and diseases in Jesus’ name. I resist the devil today by submitting to your family plan for my life. I resist the devil today by submitting to your financial plan for life. I thank You father for the prophetic outpouring of power as it was in the day of Pentecost, I receive the power for deliverance you promised us will drive away the spirit of fear, anxiety from us in Jesus’ name. I thank you for the exceeding greatness of Your power towards us who believe, according to the working of Your mighty power which You used to raise Christ Jesus from the dead
Day 13 Prayer Focus: Learn to wait on God
Scripture: Isaiah 40: 27-31: Why would you ever complain, O Jacob, or whine, Israel, saying,
Waiting upon the Lord is a virtue every believer must experience. It is a required practice for every believer. In this season of Fasting with prayer spend adequate and prime time quieting your soul before the Lord, meditating on His word as you make your request known to Him.
Waiting upon the Lord is trusting that God has heard your prayers and having the expectation for His response to you.
There are benefits that comes with waiting upon the Lord
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the promise in Your word, that says “those who wait upon You get “Renewed Strength” I therefore, by faith I receive Your “Renewed Strength and like the eagle I will soar over every obstacle and challenges in life in Jesus’ name. As I wait on You Father, help me to be intimately acquainted with You and your Holy Spirit who indwells in me. I thank You Father for making provisions for me to ensure that I do not give up quit or faint in this life. I thank You Father for the renew strength that gives me the power and extra ordinary capacity to receive heavenly knowledge with spiritual wisdom and understanding in navigating the life you have planned for me in Jesus’ name. Father I thank You for the promise in your word that says “I will walk and will not lag behind, for Your power is my shield to help me recover whatever I need to recover from without any sign of loss in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. I thank You Father for being the source and the sustainer of my life and family. I thank You Father for the promise in Your word that says “ask and it would be given unto you” I therefore ask for the manifestation of the Power of the Holy Spirit that causes me to have passion for the things You have purpose for me in Jesus mighty name Amen.
Day 14 @ Sunday Service @ CALM CHURCH 121 Grandview Avenue, Staten Island NY 10303
Day 15 Prayer focus: You are designed to be a carrier of His presence
Scripture: John 14: 21 He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” 22 Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, “Lord, how is it that You will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?” 23 Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.
You are designed to be a home for God “We will come to him and make Our home with him”.
Always remember that God wants to manifest Himself to us and in us, that we might glorify Him with our bodies and life. Our obedience to His Word will initiate the manifestation of God in our lives.
Live every moment knowing that you are a carrier of His presence. God promised to make you the believer a temple by infusing you with His Holy Spirit
1 Corinthians 3:6: do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?
The Holy Spirit will make you thirst for holiness and righteous living and as you commit to the Holy Spirit leadership in your life, you will train your body and mind to become sensitive to God, thereby producing godliness in and through you.
1 Corinthians 6:20: “For ye are bought with a price: therefore, glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.”
Prayer Confession: Heavenly Father, I thank You for the promise in Your Word, that says You will manifest yourself in me, I therefore seek You in obedience to Your Word to manifest yourself in me and my family in the name of Jesus’ Christ. Father I thank You for strengthening me with the Holy Spirit, I pray for the insight and understanding to become sensitive to the day-to-day ministry of the Holy Spirit leadership in my life. I thank you father that I am anointed for good works, and I am an over-comer in Jesus’ name, I therefore walk in the power of Your word to fulfill Your righteous causes in my life in Jesus’ name Amen
Day 16 Focus: God’s Abounding Grace- for your Abundance
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 9:6: 6 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.7 Every man according as he purposes in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, (reluctantly) or of necessity (compulsory): for God loveth a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
God’s abounding grace is His ability for your capability and sufficiency to flourish in every good work
You can sow bountifully, that is your capability, do not choose to sow sparingly, you only reap sparingly
God makes all grace to abound for the replenishing of the sower who sows bountifully to avoid lack and exhaustion in the field call life
We don’t buy grace from God, but when we seek Him, when we sow bountifully, He graces us for our breakthrough. Deuteronomy 8:18: And you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.
Prayer Confession: Heavenly Father I thank You for your Word that says: You are able to make all grace abound toward me; so that I always have all sufficiency in all things may abound to every good work, because I am a cheerful giver, I make a righteous conscious decision to sow bountifully a according to your prescribed financial plan for my life in Jesus’ name. Father I thank You for Your word that says: “you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant. I therefore put You in remembrance today as my source and the sustainer of life in Jesus’ name. Father I thank You for Your word That says “you wish above all that we prosper and be in health, I thank You Father that I am prospering and healthy in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. I thank You Father that the devourer is rebuked for my sake because I am a tither, and an offering giver, and because I obey and serve You Father, I will spend my days in prosperity and my years in pleasure. I thank You Father for Your supernatural abundance for every prayer need in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Amen
Day 17 Prayer focus; Awakening the intercessor in you
As you grow in your faith walk, you will discover part of God’s plan for your life is for you to be a distributing channel of blessing.
Scripture: 1 Timothy 2:1: First of all then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.
Ephesians 6:18: always Praying in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints
James 5:6: Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working
When fasting with prayers always incorporate the kind of fast that pleases God. The folks in the days of the Prophet Isaiah fasted religiously, but the Lord God wasn’t please with their fasting, and they said in Isaiah 58: ‘Why have we fasted,’ they say, ‘and You have not seen? Why have we afflicted our souls, and You take no notice?
Fasting and prayer is not much of our empty stomach, it is about connecting our heart to what pleases God. The Prophet Isaiah gives us an insight to the kind of fasting with prayer that pleases God.
Isaiah 58:6 “Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loosen the bonds of wickedness. To undo the heavy burdens. To let the oppressed go free, And that you break every yoke? 7 Is it not to share your bread with the hungry,
Jesus prayed for Peter then turn around and tells Peter to do likewise to others
Luke 22: 31 And the Lord said, “Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat. 32 But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.”

Day 18 Prayer focus; Divine Power for godly Living
Scripture: 2 Peter 1:2 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, 3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the [c]corruption that is in the world through lust.
The increase of spiritual life is determined by our knowledge of God= Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. God has designed and prescribed a way for our spiritual increase that makes His blessing available to us.
Spend some quality time meditating on the word of God, to gain accurate knowledge of God and what He is offering you
Prayer Confession: Heavenly Father, I thank You that the entrance of Your words gives light. I thank You that Your Word which You speak and which I confess is alive and full of power making it active, operative, energizing, and effective in me. I thank You Heavenly Father for Your Divine Power has granted me all things that pertain to life and godliness to navigate the issues of life in Jesus’ name. I thank You, Father, that You have given me a spirit of power and of love and of a calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control. I have Your power and ability and sufficiency, for You have qualified me by Your Grace making me to be fitted, worthy and abounding in all things according to Your will and purpose for my life in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. I thank You Father that the life I now live is as a minister and dispenser of a new covenant of salvation through Christ. I decree and declare according to Your Word, I am a new creation, for I am engrafted in Christ, the Messiah. The old previous moral and spiritual condition has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come! I forget those things which are behind me and reach forth and enter the Divine Access you have provided for me. I am crucified with Christ: Nevertheless, I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. Heavenly Father, I attend to Your Word. I consent and submit to Your sayings. Your words shall not depart from my sight; I will keep them in the center of my heart. For they are life (success) to me, healing, and health to all my flesh. I keep and guard my heart with all vigilance; and above all, that I guard, for out of it flow the springs of life. I will not let mercy and kindness and truth forsake me. I bind them about my neck; I write them upon the tablet of my heart. Knowing that I will find favor, good understanding, and high esteem in the sight of God and man.
Father, my delight and desire are in Your law, and as I meditate upon Your Word Day and by night, I will be like a tree firmly planted and tended by the streams of water, ready to bring forth my fruit in my season; my leaf also shall not fade or wither, and everything I do shall prosper and come to maturity. Now thanks be to You, Father, who always cause me to triumph in Christ Amen
Day 19 Prayer focus: Stand in Faith––Hope in God and wait patiently
Scripture: Romans 15:13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
As we head towards the end of our 21 days of Fasting with Prayers, be alert and take a righteous stand not to fall for the tricks of the enemy (Satan) for he would like for you to believe that your time spent in fasting and prayer has not been fruitful, especially when you haven’t seen the result you are expecting after you have prayed, just continue to stand in faith hope in God and wait patiently
Although fasting with prayer changes things, you must always remember that our fasting and prayer is unto God and not unto things.
We fast and pray to be seen by God and not by men.
Matthew 6:16 “Moreover, when you fast, do not be like the hypocrites, with a sad countenance. For they disfigure their faces that they may appear to men to be fasting. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. 17 But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, 18 so that you do not appear to men to be fasting, but to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.
Do not allow your unseen expectation to rob you of the reward that comes from your Father. Stand in faith hope in God and wait patiently and He will reward you openly.
Do not entertain the negative thoughts that comes to your mind, rather speak the truth in God’s word to cancel the power of those thought from manifesting in your life.
When fasting with prayer is established as a normal way of life, you will develop the sensitivity for the spiritual realm and activities of the Holy Spirit and in the process your heart is trained to hear from the Lord through the Holy Spirit
Romans 8: 5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
Prayer Confession: Heavenly father I thank You for the authority and power in Your word that says “your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly”. I thank You Father for the manifestation of Your will and power to meet every prayer need I have in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. I thank You Father that Your word is truth to me, and it is also my strength, therefore I choose not to worry or be alarmed. I turn over to You every care because You do care for me and my family. I thank You Father that all the needs I have and all that we need in CALM CHURCH is met in supernatural abundance. Father I thank you for the help you have designed for me, I choose to rejoice and be glad because great is my reward in heaven and on earth in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. As I continue to stand in faith, trusting and relying on You that you are perfecting and protecting all that pertain to me and my family in Jesus Christ mighty name Amen.
Day 20 Prayer Focus: Faith in the power of God
Scripture: 1 Corinthians 2:4 And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words ofhuman wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, 5 that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God
Our faith should be in the power of God and not in our intellect, because the gospel message is the release of the Spirit of God into the lives of those who put their trust in Him.
In his praise of God David reminds us of the power of God and how graciously God is offering us His power for our victory
1 Chronicles 29: Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power and the glory, the victory, and the majesty; For all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours; Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, And You are exalted as head overall. 12 Both riches and honor come from You, And You reign overall. In Your hand is power and might; In Your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all.
Your trust in the power of God and your commitment to self-discipline will help you quit habits that are dangerous to your health
God can fill the weakest and most fragile person with His power for His will to be manifested in their lives and that is because of His greatness, power, glory, victory, majesty, riches, and honor that belongs to Him
Heavenly Father I thank You for the Outpouring of Your power like in the days of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit was poured on the disciples, and they received power. I thank You Father that the same Holy Spirit has been released unto me and I too can experience the manifestation of Your power through the Holy Spirit in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. I agree with Your Word in Ephesians 1:17-23, that You will give me the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Christ Jesus. I thank You that the eyes of our understanding will be enlightened that I may know what is the hope of the calling of Christ Jesus and the riches of the glory of Christ Jesus’ inheritance in the saints, and I thank you for the exceeding greatness of Your power towards us who believe, according to the working of Your mighty power which You used to raise Christ Jesus from the dead and seated Him at Your right hand in heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the age which is to come. I now walk in faith trusting and relying on you Father. To you be greatness, power, glory, victory, majesty, riches, and honor in Jesus’ name Amen
