21 Days of Prayer with Fasting 2021

The theme for this year's fasting is Eternal Mindset for Renewed Strength

Good morning family. I once again wish you all a happy and prosperous new year. Today is the first day of our 21 days of fasting with prayer. We
are so glad you have decided to participate in prayer, fasting and
personal devotion. There isn’t really a better way to reset our spiritual compass and bring about God's refreshing power in every area of our lives than through prayer and fasting.

Period of Fasting: 12 mid-night - 6 pm. From January 4, 2021- January 24, 2021

Here are a few ways to prepare your heart:

  • Remember that God is your Father, and He loves you and He is for you.
  • Confess every sin that the Holy Spirit calls to your remembrance and accept God’s forgiveness 1 John 1:9. Sin is bad, but forgiveness is more powerful than sin…it washes off sin
  • Seek forgiveness from people whom you have offended and forgive those who have hurt you (Mark 11:25; Luke 11:4; 17:3,4). Remember forgiveness is greater than the act of sin. Forgive and stay forgiven
  • Ask God to fill you with His Holy Spirit according to his Word in Ephesians 5:18 and His promise in 1 John 5:14,15.
  • Approach each day with total surrendering of your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord; refuse to give in to your worldly nature (Romans 12:1,2)
  • Do not underrate the spiritual opposition we contend with and do not overrate him either. Satan sometimes increases the natural battle between body and spirit (Galatians 5:16,17). But always remember JESUS IS LORD
  • Be an active participant in your breakthrough “submit to God resist the devil and he shall flee from you”
  • Start each day with a heart ready and expecting from God (Hebrews 11:6).

PRAYER

Prayer is communicating with God through words and receiving or hearing His Words

  • Prayer is God’s designed. It is God’s way of intervening in the affairs of man spiritually and physically.
  • It is an act of faith and humility towards God.
  • In prayer, you must totally depend on God and seek His face

What is fasting?

Fasting is a spiritual discipline, fasting is abstaining from food and water or food alone for a specific period of time for Spiritual purpose. It is disciplining the flesh to gain focus on spiritual matters and fellowship with God. God rewards fasting (Isaiah 58:6)

Day 1

The first day of our prayer with fasting is a day of praise, worship, and thanksgiving. On this day we do not focus on things, rather our focus is mainly on Almighty (Jehovah) God in praise worship, and thanksgiving. Use this day to cultivate a lifestyle of praise worship and thanksgiving

Scriptures of the day:

Psalm 150:1-6 “Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let everything that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.” (KJV)

Psalm 77:11
“I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your wonders of old.” (ESV)

1 Thessalonians 5:18 “In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” (KJV)

Psalm 136:1
“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.” (NLT)

Psalm 9:1 “I will praise You, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your marvelous works.” (NKJV)

Hebrews 13:15
“Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name.” (ESV)

Psalm 69:30
“I will praise the name of God with a song; I will magnify him with thanksgiving.” (ESV)

Psalm 103:2-5 “Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget none of His benefits; Who pardons all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from the pit, Who crowns you with loving-kindness and compassion; Who satisfies your years with good things, So that

 Pray

Father, I enter into Your gates with thanksgiving in my mouth, and into Your courts with praise. I declare my mouth filled with Your praise and honor all the days of my life. With gratitude in my heart, I pour out praise and thanksgiving to You for who You are in my life. I thank You for crowning me with loving-kindness and tender mercy, I bless Your Holy name and exalt You above all in my life, You, are high and lifted up in Jesus' name. Father, I thank You for Your presence in my life and in my family, thank You for being more than enough in my life.

Thank You Father for being my righteousness through Christ Jesus giving me the right to come boldly into Your presence, I thank you for this day and, thank you because I am one of your sheep, therefore my ears will hear your Word today and be renewed in the spirit of my mind. I declared boldly that my heart surrenders to Your Word, my heart bows to your will, and I make myself available to the holy spirit to led and teach me this day, Father I trust you to bring me into the place you have prepared for me in Jesus name Amen

Day 2 Prayer Focus: - Being Heavenly Minded

Scripture: Colossians 3: If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth

God not only speaks to us by his word, but speaks to us by our own consciences, whispering to us, this is the way, walk in it; and we must attend to the voice of God.

If you expect to hear from God you have to withdraw from the distraction in the world, especially your immediate environment, and set your mind on things above by Looking at life from God’s perspective.

Come in agreement with the word of God, by believing what the word of God says about you, this will result into a renewed mindset and fix your eyes on God and pray consistently. The prophet's standing upon his watch (Habakkuk 2) reveals his patience; he will wait the time; he will have an answer and he will know what God will say to him. Once your mind is set on God, you will hear Him, and you must be prepared to write down what He says to you. So, bring out your tablet, your writing pad write down your goals and simplify it, so you can run with it this year. You must develop a passion for the victory you desire from the Lord as you embark on this spiritual discipline.

 Prayer:

  • Father, I pray in the name of Jesus that you will impact my heart with a great passion for You and Your word in prayer
  • I Cast down every vain imagination, spiritual and physical forces that are preventing me from moving forward and gaining speed in Jesus' name.
  • I do follow the Good Shepherd. I know His voice and the voice of a stranger I will not follow. (John 10:4,5)
  • Jesus is made unto me wisdom I, therefore, walk in that wisdom expecting to know what to do in every situation and I know by His grace I will come up on top of every circumstance in Jesus' name Amen.

Day 3 Prayer Focus: Develop the Habit of following a Great Leader in the Holy Spirit

Scripture: John 1613 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.

Please take notice of the underlined words: The Holy Spirit is known as the Spirit of Truth, and His main work in your life is to reveal and convey Truth (God’s word) to you.

He will reveal the truth about your situation, and that truth becomes a revelation to you

The Holy Spirit speaks, and His voice is the Word of God. He speaks directly into the Spirit of man.

He will guide you into all truth, why? Well, one of Satan’s plot or weapon is lies, he wants you to believe lies about yourself, God, and your situation. That’s why it is important that we spend time during this spiritual exercise of Fasting with prayer learn to yield to the Holy Spirit as He guides and leads you in what is God’s will for your life and family this year.

    Prayer confession

Heavenly Father, I thank You for the Holy Spirit, my teacher, my helper and guide in every situation. I thank you Father for making me aware and responsive to the Holy Spirit's inner witness and guidance for my life. Spirit of God I acknowledge you and your presence in my life to lead me and my family in everything that pertains to life and godliness in the name of Jesus Christ.

Throughout the day have your mind focus on the Holy Spirit commit your day to Him and He will direct your path

Day 4 Prayer Focus: Peace of God (Lifestyle)

Scripture: John 14: 25 “These things I have spoken to you while being present with you. 26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. 27 Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Prayer produces peace and power for the believer in times of trouble or despair. Prayer is the antidote for worry. It has been said that Whenever you are experiencing fear, anxiety, just go to God in prayer, He will strengthen you and give you peace.

Peace is not the absence of trouble it is the very presence of God in the midst of your trouble. (Peace I leave with you)

The peace a believer gets from God through prayer is a sign of your trust in God. He wants us to demonstrate faith in Him through prayer.

Philippians 4:6; Be careful about nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

When our heart or mind is at peace when we pray, it is a demonstration of our faith and trust in God the bible promises “the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” the state of your heart and mind must be in peace so that you can hear God properly and be able to appropriate His word in your life

Prayer: Father in Heaven, I thank you for your peace that governs my life, I thank You that your peace governs my thinking through Christ Jesus, therefore, I will operate in faith towards you. I thank You for your peace in my life that surpasses all understanding. I thank You Father for peace and godly wisdom that has entered my heart because I trust in You. I thank You that Your peace is the ruling authority in my life therefore I will never operate in fear anymore. Father, I thank You for all sufficiency because my mind stays on You, and my strength is renewed as I go from glory to glory in Jesus name Amen

Day 5 Prayer Focus: Guard your Heart (Life)

Scripture: Proverbs 4:23: Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. KJV

Proverbs 4:23: Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life. NLT

Take time out in this season of fasting with prayer to examine your life, relationship with God, relationship with your spouse, relationship with others, family, business, work, etc. Does it bring you happiness, joy, is it productive, and above all does it bring Glory to God? If your answer is no, then you need to take inventory of what is it you have allowed dominating your life.

What you allow into your life can decide which direction you go in life. If you allow doubt in your life through your thought pattern, it will rob you of your faith, if you allow hate, it will rob you of love, if you allow prayerlessness it will rob you of intimate time with God. Therefore, choose wisely, make a righteous conscious decision to allow things that will help you grow in your faith walk with God. Things that will help you grow in your family, relationships, business legally, and bring glory to God.

Philippians 4:8: Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Get into the word of God and read about what is true about your life.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You for the privilege of life and the grace to have Jesus Christ as the Lord of my life, salvation, and strength. I surrender my will to You and I pick-up Your will for my life in Jesus' name. I cast down and reject anything that I might have allowed in my life knowingly or unconsciously that is slowing me down or moving me in the wrong direction of your purpose for me. I make a righteous conscious decision to allow You Father to enthrone my heart and give me the ability to understand Your purpose for my life. I thank You, Father, from this moment forward I receive by faith all that I need to know to make the right changes and be equipped for good works.

I thank You for Divine development in your word and deliverance from every work and power of darkness. Today, I receive by faith a Divine Dominion to operate in places that You have designed for my life in Jesus mighty name I pray.  Amen

Day 6 Prayer Focus: The Goodness of God

Scriptures: 2 Chronicles 16:9a For, the eyes of the Lord run to and from throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is perfect toward Him.

Psalms 100:5:For the Lord is good, His mercy is everlasting; and His truth endures to all generations. KJV

God is a good God, and we ought to reflect on His goodness every day. It is the nature of God to be good to you, it means that His righteousness is revealed in His goodness and His goodness always results in an act of kindness towards those who trust Him. God’s kindness is His generosity towards us, it involves giving us, caring for us, helping us, always doing something to improve the quality of life for us.

Psalm 145:9The Lord is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works.

We are the handwork of His hands, therefore; it is appropriate to expect His goodness and His tender mercies to operate in our lives every day

Meditate on the goodness of God, He wants us to be aware of His goodness because it will motivate us to please Him and approach Him with confidence and assurance.

Prayer:

Since God’s Goodness results in His kindness and His kindness involves: giving us, caring, helping, etc. fill-up the blanks in prayer base on your personal needs.

Heavenly Father I pray that you will give me and my family ………………….  because of your goodness towards me in Jesus name Amen

Heavenly Father I pray for your help in this…………………. Areas of my life because of your goodness towards me in Jesus name Amen

Heavenly Father I thank You that your goodness and mercy will follow me and my household all the days of our life in Jesus name Amen.

Day 8: Faith for maximum result

Scripture: Romans 10:17: 17 So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ.

Dedicate your heart, all of your being to capture the word of God, daily for maximum result. The word of God is hanging in the balance of Eternity waiting for someone with faith in the realm of time on earth to make a withdrawal with their faith           be that person with faith today

Faith is the master key that unlocks every door in the kingdom of God. We live the Christian life the same way we entered the Christian life.

Colossians 2:as ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:

                                     And that is by Faith

Faith starts with believing God – One woman got healed by saying “If I can only touch the herm of His garment” and she did and got healed. The process took place in her thought pattern and gave birth to her action that released the power into her life. Likewise, if you will say in your heart and mean it by your actions

The burden of responsibility for entering into the Promised Land was placed on the Israelite's. From Moses to Joshua the word of God remained the same. Leadership may change but God’s word never changes, it is designed to accomplish what it is sent out to do. The impossible things in your life can become possible if you will set your heart to believe His word.

Pray through whatever situation you are going through, for our God is well able to turn impossible situations around for the better.

Prayer of Faith:

Heavenly Father, I thank You for the gift of life and faith to trust You. I stand in agreement today with your word that says you are able to make all Grace abound towards me and that you will feel me with wisdom, knowledge, and spiritual understanding in navigating my life in Jesus' name Amen. I decree and declare that all my needs are met with supernatural abundance in Jesus' name amen. And since I and my household have chosen to obey you, we will spend our days in prosperity and our years in pleasure in Jesus name Amen.

Day 9: Prayer Focus Moving Forward in Life

Scripture: Deuteronomy 1:“The Lord our God spoke to us in Horeb, saying: ‘You have dwelt long enough at this mountain.

Mount Horeb was a place of comfort coming out of slavery in Egypt, it was a place of refreshment and revelation because the people saw the Glory of God there, but they became comfortable and complacent with no desire to move forward. God had to remind them about the promised land ahead. Horeb was good but it is time to move forward. The same could be said for your situation, God wants us moving forward into His promises and plan for our lives

In this season of fasting with prayer, I encourage you to step out in faith and do not become comfortable and complacent in your current position in life, move forward in faith. Do not be afraid of walking into the unknown just because you do not have all the answers. It is time for you to say yes to what God is asking of you.

It is time to move forward spiritually (repent and connect with God’s will for you) Make a decision to grow in your faith walk

It is time to move forward Emotionally (accept God's deliverance from past hurt by embracing His healing power in His word)

It is time to move forward in your relationship (make amends where necessary)

It is time to move forward in your business. Step out in faith, remember "God is able to do" give Him something to do

Evaluate your situation, is it line with the word of God, the plan of God, the will of God, or the promises of God concerning you and step out in faith knowing this: that God is well able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us

God wants us to align with His program for our life. Meditate on this scripture throughout the day and practice it:

2 Corinthians 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ

Rearrange your thought process to fit into what God desires for you. Philippians 4: And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.

Prayer: Heavenly Father I stand in agreement with your word, therefore I cast down every vain imagination and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ in my life in Jesus name, from this day forward I submit my mind to be influenced by the power of the Holy Spirit for the manifestation of God’s will in my life in Jesus name. I pray that you surround me with people who will help me fulfill your righteous cause in my life as I step out in faith this year, I declare that the works of my hands are blessed because you promised to bless them in Jesus name Amen.

Day 10 Prayer Focus: Function in your God-given Abilities

Scriptures:1 Corinthians 14: Let love be your highest goal! But you should also desire the special abilities the Spirit gives—especially the ability to prophesy

Zechariah 4:6: So he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty.“What are you, mighty mountain? Before Zerubbabel, you will become level ground. Then he will bring out the capstone to shouts of ‘God bless it! God bless it!’”

After receiving a great revelation, Zechariah wondered how this great vision was going to manifest and the Lord responded with: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit”

There is nothing God wants you to do, that He wants you to do without Him. This season of Fasting with prayer is a time to discover what gifts or talent God has placed within you if you haven’t already known. If you already discovered your gifts, talents, or abilities, are you operating in it, are you intimidated by it, are you procrastinating from actually walking in it?

Here is a scripture to help you get going: 1 John 4:4:You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.

The Holy Spirit of God is waiting to help you discover your gifts, talents, and abilities, so that He can work in you, through you, and fulfill God’s plan for you. He has heard everything about your life, and He has been sent to carry out God’s plan for your life.

If you haven’t discovered your gifts yet ask him today, He will make it known to you, but if you have, still ask Him to help you operate in your gift

Your gift will point you to a God-given assignment. Gideon was hiding from the enemies, but when the angel of the Lord showed up, the angel called him a “mighty man of valor”, Jeremiah was told to carry out God’s assignment but responded by saying “I am a child” and the Lord said “do not say I am a child, for I knew you before you were formed in your mother’s womb”

God sees us and calls us base on what He has placed within us and not according to how we feel or what we are going through.

Prayer: Heavenly Father I thank You for creating me to fit in Your plan, I pray for the eyes of my understanding to be enlightened to know and understand the gifts that you have placed with me. I desire to function in……………..spiritual gifts. I thank You for the manifestation of Your wisdom in my life and for a favor to carry out Your assignment for life and those you send my way. I thank You that the Holy Spirit will have His way in my life with the manifestation of the gifts that you have placed within me in Jesus' name amen.

Day 11 Prayer Focus: “Thy Kingdom Come”

Scripture: Matthew 6:“Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him. In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. 10 Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.11 Give us this day our daily bread.12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13 And do not lead us into temptation but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

When Jesus Christ was with His disciples on earth, and He was asked to teach them how to pray, one of the things He taught them to pray for is “Thy Kingdom Come” The kingdom spoken by Christ in this passage of Matthew 6:10, speaks of His kingship, sovereignty, authority, rule, in the hearts of mankind.

We should pray for His kingdom to come. Jesus knew what is in the Kingdom and that it will be of great benefit to all humanity. Every time we allow God’s will to dominate our thinking, we are giving access to His Kingdom to rule or reign through us

How can you be a factor in “Thy Kingdom come”? well, reach out to someone today help them connect with God or maybe you know someone who has left the Christian faith, reach out to them in love, help them reconnect back to God, invite them to join you on social media or prayer conference, share the word with them on social media, text them, YouTube them. Do it in love, by doing so you avail yourself for the work of the Kingdom. One of the proofs of your love for God is your willingness to see His Kingdom Come into the lives of the lost. The lost could be some of your family members, friends, neighbors, classmates, co-workers, county, town, borough, city-state, or nation, your immediate surrounding is a good place to start (Families and friends) add that to your prayer list and to your to-do list this year and go for it.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, I thank you for giving me the opportunity to be a partner and worker with and for You. I Thank You Father because You have designed me to have an impact in my environment especially in my sphere of influence. I thank You Father for bringing people into my life that will help me be better in what you have designed me to be. I pray that you will bring people who will hear your word to cross my path and help me to be sensitive to their needs in the name of Jesus Christ. I commit myself as a partner with and for you to be faithful in my service and my substance to “Thy Kingdom Come” in Jesus' name. I come against any Satanic attack to hinder Your kingdom in my life, family, city and to those, I am sent to witness to, in the name of Jesus Christ I pray for the deliverance of my _________________ (fill in the blank with the name or names of family members or friends, etc.)  from the hands and influence of Satan and that their eyes and hearts be open to Your truth to save them in Jesus name Amen

Day 12 Prayer Focus: Living Life with the Wisdom of God

Scripture: 1 Corinthians 2:  For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” 10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. 11 For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.

Wisdom is the practical application of Knowledge. It is applying insight knowledge of truth in life situations and it all starts with the mind. The mind is like an antenna with the tendency to receive information from any source that is transmitting towards it or around it.

In this season of Fasting with prayer exercise your faith, training your mind to live in this world with the wisdom of God. The mind can become the eye of the spirit when it is fed the word of God constantly.

Remember that you are one with God, you are the light of the world, do not practice doubt, by confessing you don’t hear God. Declare boldly God is my Father and I hear Him as He hears me. Apply God's word in dealing with issues you are confronted with and go for it.

 Prayer confession:

Heavenly Father I thank You for the gift of life, Thank You Father that you have made provisions for me to come to You and receive the wisdom that is from above. Thank you for Your word that promises wisdom for those we ask for it, I, therefore, ask for your wisdom from above today in the name of Jesus Christ to deal with all the issues I will ever encounter in life. I give your Word first place in my mind; therefore, I trust You, Father, to impart my mind with divine wisdom and complete insight into the Your ways and purpose for my life and family in Jesus' name. I thank You Father that skillful and godly wisdom has now entered into my heart, my mind and the knowledge of You is pleasant to my mind. I confess that Your Spirit of wisdom, understanding, and knowledge rest upon me and my family, and Your wisdom rises up in me in every situation and I will make wise and godly decisions that will result in better living from this day forward in Jesus name Amen.

Day 13: Developing Great Habits

Scripture: John 8:31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide (continue or make it a habit) in My word, you are My disciples indeed. 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Habits are a very important part of life, we all have habits, some good and some bad, but it is a repeated pattern of behavior that is often repeated, and it becomes second nature and in some people, first nature and you may be unaware of the habit.

Habits are choices we make, when you take time to evaluate your life you will realize that about 99% of what you do on a daily basis is a direct result of “CHOICE”

The gift of “CHOICE” is a great gift from God to the human race. being able to make a choice is God’s gift to man which allows us to paint the picture of our future.   Deuteronomy 30:19: 19I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you, life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore, choose life, so that both thou and thy seed may live.

Isaiah 1:19; If ye be willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land KJV

It does not matter how long you have had your habit or what kind of habit you are struggling with- whether it’s emotional, financial, relational, spiritual, sexual, etc. the principles that lead to freedom and happiness and recovery are always the same and the choice is always yours. Jesus says “if you continue in my word...you will know the Truth and it will make you free” giving us the right to make the choice for the freedom we so desire.

John 8:32: And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Free from what? Free from mental, physical, and spiritual bondage. Free from habits that are destructive. When you create through choice a deliberate time and passion for God’s word, it will free your life from habits that destroy.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father I thank You for the gift of choice, the privilege to choose freely, I thank You that my body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and I commit myself to experience the freedom that comes with continuing in Your word in Jesus name, As I renew my mind with Your word I pray for Your Life-Changing Revival in life to break me free from any form of destructive habits in my life whether I am aware of it or not, I yield to You right now to energize my spirit, restore my soul rejuvenate my mortal body in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. I give my mind to Your Word today in Jesus' name. Father, I thank You for a life-changing faith a faith that says I am victorious over every form of habit in Jesus name, I declare that I have been crucified with Christ Jesus, and the life I now leave I leave by the faith of the Son of God who loves me and gave Himself for me. I thank You for Your Word that changes lives and makes an impact in my life and our church in Jesus name Amen

Pray for Family and friends that you know are struggling with life destructive habits ask for God’s deliverance for them in Jesus' name.

Day 14: Sunday Service

Day 15: Prayer Focus: You as a House for the Spirit of God

Scripture1 Cor. 2:12: Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.

The Spirit of God in you is for Relationship and Revelation.

The Holy Spirit will make you thirst for holiness and righteous living and as you commit to the Holy Spirit leadership in your life, you will train your spirit body-mind to become sensitive to God

1 Corinthians 3:6: do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you?

1 Corinthians 6:20: “For ye are bought with a price: therefore, glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.”

Prayer: Father in the name of Jesus, I praise You today, I give You Glory and honor for who You are. I thank you for giving me a helper, a comforter for my life who is always with me

Father, I thank You for strengthening me with the Holy Spirit, I pray for the insight and understanding to become sensitive to the day-to-day ministry of the Holy Spirit leadership in my life. I make a renewed commitment from this day on to put my total dependence on the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit I acknowledge You in my life today and I yield to You right now help me to sense where You are leading so that I can follow. I thank you father that I am anointed for good works and I am an over-comer in Jesus name, I, therefore, walk in the power of Your word to fulfill Your righteous causes in my life in Jesus name Amen

Day 16: Having a godly outlook that surpasses our situations.

Scripture: Philippians 4: Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Fasting with prayer helps us to develop a godly or biblical outlook of our life and the challenges we go through. It is a time when our focus is more on what God is saying that we might have missed out on because of our daily busy life or what God is doing in our life and around us, and what He wants us to. It is also a time of deep intimate moment with God in prayer.

Philippians 4 tells us not to allow anxiety to cloud how we view our situation, but to pray and the sign that we have a godly outlook of our situations is peace in the midst of storm

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

Prayer: Heavenly father I thank you today for your grace and mercy that endures to all. I thank you for the privilege of prayer, that I can come to You with my request according to You will for my life in Jesus name Amen

Now develop your prayer and make your request known to God as we stand in agreement with you for your request to be fulfilled in your life and family in Jesus name Amen

Day 17 Prayer Focus: Breakthrough

Scripture: Colossians 1: For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; 10 that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11 strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; 12 giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. 13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, 14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

Breakthrough is the advancement in life or the spiritual development that takes place in our lives through the influence of the kingdom of God or the power of God.

The first step to breakthrough is an act of God to deliver us from the oppression of Satan.

Col. 113 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,

The second step in breakthrough is your active participation and desire for the Kingdom influence and power in your life. It requires applying pressure that penetrates and moves you beyond the enemy’s (Satan) defensive line in warfare.”

Prayer: Father I thank You for saving me out of darkness into your marvelous light, I thank You for being my mighty deliverer, I thank you for establishing me in the Kingdom of Your Son, in whom I have peace. I Thank You Father that no situation is too hard for You. I thank You Father that You have given me authority over my enemy (Satan), therefore in the name of Jesus Christ I declare breakthrough, Restoration in my life and Family (be precise about the breakthrough you desire to see and have) in Jesus name

Day 18 Prayer Focus: Living in God’s Righteousness

Scriptures:

Romans 5:21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord. KJV

Isaiah 54:14: In righteousness you shall be established;
You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear;
And from terror, for it shall not come near you
.

Please do not rely on your fasting and lose focus and faith in God’s grace and mercy. God’s grace and mercy far outweighs any form of spiritual activity we perform. Do not fall for the trap of Satan to make you feel unworthy, and not qualify for God’s righteousness.

Avoid using phrases that deny your position in Christ. For example: some well meaning Christians say words like “I know I am not a saint, but….”  If you are a believer in Christ, you are a saint established in His righteousness by His grace. Assume your position in righteousness without feeling a sense of guilt or inferiority, knowing that your heavenly Father as found you fit in Christ. Living in God’s righteousness is a shield from oppression, fear, inferiority, terror

Prayer: Father I pray for a spiritual impartation by the Holy Spirit that will ignite my passion to be effective in this season. I pray that this impartation will help me with the passion to crave and thirst for your righteousness in Jesus name. I thank You Father for the breakthrough that you have prepared for me, my family and my church family because we trust in you, I thank You Father that we are set apart to do your will on this earth, therefore our thoughts we line up with your will and your plans for us are established. We thank You Father because of the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives a refreshing takes place, restoration takes place and breakthrough is now taking place in my life, family, and Church family right now in Jesus name Amen

Day 19 Prayer Focus: Trusting the Lord even when you don’t understand your situation

Scripture: Luke 1:5: There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the division of Abijah. His wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elizabeth. And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless. But they had no child, because Elizabeth was barren, and they were both well advanced in years. So it was, that while he was serving as priest before God in the order of his division, according to the custom of the priesthood, his lot fell to burn incense when he went into the temple of the Lord. 10 And the whole multitude of the people was praying outside at the hour of incense. 11 Then an angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing on the right side of the altar of incense. 12 And when Zacharias saw him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him 13 but the angel said to him, “Do not be afraid, Zacharias, for your prayer is heard; and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John. 14 And you will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth. 15 For he will be great in the sight of the Lord and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink. He will also be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother’s womb. 16 And he will turn many of the children of Israel to the Lord their God. 17 He will also go before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, ‘to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children,’ and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.”18 And Zacharias said to the angel, “How shall I know this? For I am an old man, and my wife is well advanced in years.19 And the angel answered and said to him, “I am Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God, and was sent to speak to you and bring you these glad tidings.

The Gospel message which we preach is known as the good news or glad tidings, stay focus, trust God embrace the good news (Christ) even when you do not have the total picture of what the outcome will be.

For many years Zacharias and his wife Elizabeth prayed for a child, their prayer to the naked eyes seems to go unanswered, but they stayed focus, continued steadfast in service and prayer even at an old age.

The scripture says: “And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless

The word “righteous” in the scripture is the same word as “upright” meaning to stand approved in God’s sight externally in behavior and internally in motive. Which means that their behavior and their motive for serving God did not change as they wait for the outcome of their prayer request. Keep praying, continue in faith like Zachariah and Elizabeth stay blameless in the ordinance of the Lord, which is the “dictates” (word) of God

Zacharias according to text considered his old age and that of his wife a difficult situation, an obstacle to their prayer and yet they still prayed

Even when we can see obstacles in our path, that are of no fault of ours, or obstacles that are as a direct result of our past or present mistakes, remember, like Zachariah and Elizabeth you too can and will experience the power of the Gospel or good news.

Paul says: it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes in Him. It is the power of God unto total wholeness to those who believe in Him

Prayer:

Heavenly Father I thank You for the Gospel of Jesus Christ that I have received by your grace. I stand in agreement with Your word that says that the gospel is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes in Him. Therefore, I pray for the manifestation of the power of the Holy Spirit and I commit myself to agree with the moving of the Holy Spirit’ power in my life, and family in Jesus name. I thank You Father that You can do Exceedingly Abundantly above what my prayer request are and what I allow in my thought pattern. I thank You Father for being the God that is more than enough, You have become my provider and my miracle worker, I therefore trust You to manifest Your power, your will, and Your promises for my life in Jesus name Amen. Just like Zachariah and Elizabeth I too will hear and see all that You have purposed for me and my family in Jesus name Amen.

Day 20: Victory in Spiritual Warfare

When you look at the world today and you see that the world is strapped with many challenging evils, and wrong happening all over the world there is a root cause for that, or perhaps in your personal life, you notice that there is a threat to your comfort zone, Satan would want you to believe he is wining. Maybe you are faced with a love one passing, a bad doctors report of sickness, financial problems, family or relationship problems, Satan would love for you to believe he is wining

Do not believe the lie of the enemy Satan.

1 John 4:4: Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. We are not fighting for victory we are fighting from the position of victory

  • Our struggles in life are not primarily a fight against flesh and blood
  • The battle in the physical realm, what we are contending with (weare not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but we are fighting) and as a result we battle in the spiritual realm

Eph. 6NLT:10: A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. 12 For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.

quit addressing people as your haters and enemies that is an act flesh, and it is superficial natural battle and a waste of your time. Why?  We are in an “invisible war

Zechariah 3:1: Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the Angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to oppose him. He is constantly looking for who he will devour.

Satan, the devil is an accuser, of the believer in Christ, he seeks to oppose you from the will of God for your life. Remember he is a defeated foe, and the battle has already won by Christ. “Stand your ground” stay in faith and trust God. Submit to God resist the devil and he will flee from you.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father I thank You that You are my Victory, I thank You for the greater one that is in me. I thank You for Your word that encourages and assures me that You are my God and mighty warrior, and I know that no situation is too hard for You. I thank You Father that I can trust You to Stretch out Your right hand against the wrath of my enemies Satan and his demons and Your right hand will save me in Jesus name. I thank You for the authority in Your word that gives me victory over every demonic adversity. I come against them right now in the name of Jesus Christ. Just as David inquire of You on how to recover from the attack of the enemy, I also ask for Your wisdom and instructions on how to recover from everything the enemy has ever stolen from me in the name of Jesus Christ. Father I pursue and recover all that the enemy has stolen from me as I set my heart and mind on recovery mode I thank You Father for recovery of all Satan has stolen from me with no evidence of loss in Jesus mighty name amen. I place a restriction on Satan and his demons from operating in my life, family my Church and everything that concerns me in Jesus name Amen
